Changing weighs

Okay, so that's a dreadful pun. Anyway, as my stomache expands ever further ahead of me, and at 45 I move like a 70 year old, I;m finally going to try to do something about it.

I've joined a weightloss clinic at my doctor's, starting on Monday. Three meetings a week, the first with a dietician/chef, the second for exercise, and the third as a support meeting.

I need something to kick start my weight loss, so hopefully tomorrow will be the start of the new me. Well, physically. I'll still have all the charm and humour intact. I might just do away with the jolly fatman!.

Enough for now.

And so it begins...

They tell me that everyone is doing this blogging thing; there are certainly several that I read fairly frequently. So I decided to give it a go.

I've always got something to say!

This blog will revolve around what I read, watch and listen to, mostly, with maybe a little bit of real life thrown in for the hell of it.

I read all sorts of stuff (currently John Lescroart's The 13th Juror, which is a big book in every sense of the word, and Warren Ellis's Transmetropolitan graphic novels - just waiting for the 5th one to arrive), I watch all sorts of stuff, mainly on DVD (currently House Series 4, Without a Trace series 1 and NYPD Blue Series 2), I listen to all sorts of stuff, especially recordings of live shows (currently the last few Springsteen shows from the Magic tour).

Well, that's all fairly dull. I promise to have an opinion or two next time I'm here.

See you later.
